I'm a business and data analyst who's spent the last few years pulling operational
and financial data into reports and KPIs that managers can act on. My work has
covered a lot of ground — financial-aid reporting and project budgets on one side,
fraud and pricing analysis on the other — so picking up a new domain quickly is
something I'm used to.
I care about the part that's easy to skip: making the numbers trustworthy, then
explaining them in plain language to people who don't live in spreadsheets. Whether
it's automating a recurring report in SQL or walking executives through a dashboard,
the goal is the same — give people something they can decide with.
